Episode 4: Caring For Those In Adversity

See this content in the original post

As we close the month on faith and adversity, in this episode we will discuss the adversity of addiction with a man of faith who runs an inpatient treatment facility in Baltimore, MD. While society looks at addiction as a moral failing, we learn that addiction is a complex disease that affects the brain. Ghanian Executive Director, Bernard Gyebi-Foster shares his role in caring for and treating those faced with the adversity of addiction.

You don’t want to miss:

  • The challenges and the trials of those suffering from substance use disorder and its related treatment

  • Recommendations for African leaders on substance use disorder and its consequences

  • Resources to encourage and assist those struggling with addiction

Through my story and those of my amazing guests, I pray that our message touches the lives of people to be inspired, encouraged and informed all on all things faith, empowerment, global health, and beloved Mother Africa.
