EP 17: Youth and men’s empowerment

See this content in the original post

The Saibatu Mansaray Journey had an inspiring conversation with Chaplain (Colonel) Khallid Shabazz, the highest ranking Muslim Chaplain in the military about his challenging journey as a youth and some key decisions he made that shaped his life into the man he is today.

Chaplain Shabazz served as the chaplain during my first deployment to Iraq in 2005-2006, and we both agree those were trying times for all of us, but his religious leadership during that time kept me steadfast in the path of God.

You don’t want to miss:

  • His journey of trials as a youth and a convert to Islam to the upstanding man he is today

  • His advice to our youth and men

  • Discussing his inspiring short video “Don’t Quit!”

Through my story and those of my amazing guests, I pray that our message touches the lives of people to be inspired, encouraged and informed all on all things faith, empowerment, global health, and beloved Mother Africa.
